Our Client:
Regional NSW aboriginal medical service that provides comprehensive primary health care services focused on chronic disease management to the Grafton community. The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of all three clinics, including business planning, financial management, staff leadership, and accreditation compliance. The role supports executive management and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring high-quality health services.
The Exciting Opportunity:
You will be responsible for overseeing three Clinics made up of three full-time doctors, drug and Alcohol Health Worker, Aboriginal Health Worker, Nutritionists, Psychologist, One day per week, Female Psychologist and Male Psychologist , Child and family health nurse, Midwife.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Provide daily support to the CEO and clinical teams.
- Oversee administrative staff workload, performance, and operations.
- Lead accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Develop and implement quality assurance, process improvement, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate visiting specialists and allied health providers.
- Manage financial tasks, including billing and reporting.
- Lead staff development, education, and team building.
- Ensure adherence to safety, risk management, and quality improvement standards.
- Maintain client confidentiality and a safe, compliant work environment.
The Successful Candidate:
- Proven management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Must have knowledge of the accreditation process for GP’s
- Understanding of medical terminology, allied health, and organisational skills.
- Experience in people management and team leadership conflict resolution.
- Ability to hold necessary security clearances and work rights in Australia.
- Advantageous if have used software Best Practice or Prac Soft
