The Client:
Our client has built an excellent reputation in the area of Residential Aged Care and they are a well respected national provider who have a wonderful ’employee centric’ company culture. They invest heavily in staff development, progression and your career. They deliver high quality care and have a stable and highly clinically competent team with clinical support. They are seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to be part of this hugely successful team and facility. They have excellent staff to patient ratios and offer support at all times to ensure high quality of care is delivered at all times. You will be an experienced Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Care Coordinator and have the ability to lead and take control of the clinical aspects of the facility. The facility is located 2 hours south of Melbourne CBD and has local shops, cafes, restaurants, beaches and amenities and is a medium sized facility with a warm and welcoming environment with long serving dedicated staff.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:
- Reporting on clinical indicators and ensure best practice
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Ensuring all clinical care is delivered in line with the aged care standards
- Attending family conferences and have a resident focused approach
- Support and lead the clinical team of a small facility
- Support with staff leadership, training and education
