The Exciting Opportunity:
A new position has become available for an experienced Clinical Manager to join this hugely successful team and facility which is fully accredited until September 2025. They have excellent staff to patient ratios and offer support at all times to avoid burn out & risk and to ensure high quality of care is delivered at all times.
This position will report directly into the General Manager and you will be supported by a Clinical Care Coordinator who will report directly into you. This is a 120 bed facility which has been split into 5 separate wings. Each wing has a Senior RN who is supported by an EN or Medical Endorsed Carer along with a team of 4-5 additional care staff on each wing to ensure great staff to patient ratio’s thus reducing SIRS and issues.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for :
- Ensuring all clinical care is delivered in line with the aged care standards
- SIRS
- Ensure the facility passes accreditation from a clinical perspective
- Attending family conferences and addressing any concerns
- Attending to any clinical governance
- Staff leadership, training and education
- Reporting on Clinical Indicators and Auditing
- Dealing with Admissions
- Supporting AN-ACC funding for residents to receive additional care where required
