Our Client:

This is a rare opportunity for an experience Educator / Trainer to join a progressive leading residential aged care provider located south of the river. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be a highly valued member of the team who is instrumental in facilitating and delivering education across facilities. They have an inclusive and positive culture and this role is very diverse empowering you to contribute to both the culture and success of the organisation.

The Role:

• Develop and deliver workshops, training programs and activities that support client centred care and support service delivery across residential/home care
• Be involved in monthly inductions and run half day educating and training
• Coordinate the mandatory training requirements for staff and ensure credentialing of care workers, completing required documentation post training
• Ensure that educational and other strategies reflect clinical evidenced best practice and align with workforce development KPIs – by establishing educational partnerships with internal key personnel and external stakeholders including managers, clinicians, education staff, suppliers and professional organisations
• Act as a mentor and coach for all new staff in line with scope and play a key role in the delivery of quality clinical services and client care
• Identify areas for continuous improvement and assist with implementation of new procedures
• Support with new employee induction procedures, assisting with required onboarding documentation, training and systems
