Physiotherapist – Aged Care

About the Facility:

This state-of-the-art, 120-bed aged care home encourages community connection with its outdoor intergenerational exercise and play area, BBQ facilities, and café. The facility also features two dedicated exercise rooms with scenic views, a bar, and a hairdresser, making it an ideal environment for both residents and staff.

Role Overview:

• Position Type: Permanent, full-time
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday
• Location: Dalyellup
• Relocation Support: Available for the right candidate
• Accommodation Allowance: Available for the right candidate

In this role, you will report to the Senior Therapy Team Lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide customer-centered assessments, interventions, and programs aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct customer-centered assessments, interventions, and therapeutic programs
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate therapeutic programs

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Experience in therapeutic program planning, delivery, and evaluation
• Strong commitment to person-centered care
• Excellent workload and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Proficiency with common computer systems and clinical information systems
