Our Client:

Currently Zenith Healthcare work with leading providers in various clinical areas ranging from Hospitals, Day Surgeries, Remote Health Centres, Community, Mental Health. We will provide ongoing support and advice during the entire onboarding process and take you through every step to ensure that you find the right opportunity, in the right area with a really great rate of pay, so that you are happy.

The Exciting Opportunity:

Midwife/Remote Area Nurse -Regional Western Australia

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

  • Provide high quality, safe and effective nursing and midwifery care
  • Support eight doctors with your team
  • Providing support to mothers, new mother, during and post birth
  • Deal with any crisis situations during shift and alert relevant services and families
  • Safe administration of medication

The Successful Candidate:

  • Registered Nurse or Midwife with current AHPRA registration
  • Able to commit to a 12 month regional contract
  • Full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance
  • Has worked in a regional setting before
  • Flexible in responding to changing needs of the patients and your team
  • Current ALS, Current BLS or First Aid & CPR
  • Current Remote Emergency Care Course or similar Trauma Management Course
  • Current Maternity Emergency Care Course (not absolutely essential)
  • Triage Emergency Care
  • Current Pharmacotherapeutics or similar
  • Manual Drivers License
