Rehabilitation Counsellor/Consultant – New South Wales

The position of Rehabilitation Counsellors:
You will be supporting your clients through their whole rehabilitation journey. You will become a rehab expert and act as the participant’s advocate and their educator as you guide them through what can be a tough process for them. Here is what the reality of this role is:
- Advocating for people who feel disempowered to advocate for their own recovery and health
- Delivering counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances
- Conducting assessments to help guide people toward their new career
- Working with treatment providers to ensure the best recovery outcomes for your clients
- Develop graduated return plans by liaising doctors regarding appropriate timeframes and goals
- Case managing complex psychological issues and liaising with treating health professionals
What you need to be considered:
- Tertiary qualifications in Rehab Counselling or Psychology & registration with AHPRA or ASORC
- Will consider a Provisional Psychologist who have worked in the Occupational Rehab area
- A commitment to being the best- we will provide you a phenomenal onboarding & the tools to excel

What you can expect in return:
- Salary range from $75-$95k + super for 1-3 years’ experience
- $105k + super for an industry experienced Senior Rehab Counsellor with min. 5 years of experience
- Rehab Counsellors are our preferred discipline, however, we are also open to provisional Psychologists if you have industry experience in occupational rehabilitation
- $1,000 towards Career Professional Development annually
- KPI of 6 billable hours per day
- Up to 20% bonus (worth 20k) + super (staff can easily get 10% if they meet their 6 hours a day)
