Lifestyle Coordinator – Aged Care

  • Small Residential Aged Care Facility
  • NFP provider – Permanent Part Time 3 days pwk
  • Excellent Salary + Super + $16K Salary Packaging

Our client:

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to join a small progressive residential aged care provider located north of the river. Work with a supportive team, amazing Facility Manager and values based organisation who will value your contribution. They have a strong team orientation and positive culture with a focus on quality resident care. They are very centrally located near a major shopping centre, beaches and public transport.

This role is permanent part time working 3 days per week 9am -4pm. We are seeking someone who can work Wk 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Wk 2: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivery of lifestyle activities both group and individual sessions
  • Coordinate special events and bus trips in liaison with the Facility Manager
  • Monitor attendance and engagement and report to Occupational Therapist
  • Liaise with external agencies and the Occupational Therapist to enhance the lifestyle program

The successful candidate:

  • Previous experience working in residential aged care as a Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant
  • Certificate III/IV Cert IV in Allied Health (desirable)
  • Excellent time management skills and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport with residents, family members and team
  • Covid Vaccination and current Flu Vaccine
  • National Police Clearance less than 6 months
