FIFO 8/6
$155k base + Site Allowances + Super

The Opportunity:

Our client is a leading operator within the mining industry, committed to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and operational excellence. With a strong focus on training and development, they are known for their supportive work culture and opportunities for career growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Work, Health & Safety Trainer to take on a key role in their Underground department.

We are seeking an experienced Underground Trainer to join an established team. This is a permanent position, working on an 8/6 roster FIFO from Perth.

The Role:
As a Work, Health & Safety Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive safety training to a wide range of personnel, from operators to engineers, ensuring compliance and a focus on best practices. A strong understanding of underground equipment and operations is essential to succeed in this position.

The Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a trainer, with a background in underground operations (e.g., boggers, trucks, jumbos)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of employees
  • Previous underground operational experience preferred (e.g., UG Operator)
  • Relevant qualifications in Work, Health & Safety & Training certification
  • Proven ability to assess and deliver effective training programs
  • Full working rights
