Job Description: Senior SOE Engineer

Location: Client Site (6 months)

Salary: $120k – $130k + Superannuation

Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior SOE Engineer to lead the delivery of a critical program of work, including assisting with Windows 11 (W11) upgrades. This role is pivotal to ensuring all staff are transitioned to W11 by October. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in Intune and SCCM, with a proven track record in device and configuration management, software deployment, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the W11 upgrade project, ensuring all staff are transitioned by the October deadline.
  • Manage devices and configurations using Intune and SCCM.
  • Deploy software applications efficiently through Intune and SCCM.
  • Troubleshoot common issues related to device compliance and application deployment failures.
  • Provide mentorship and share expertise with the client’s existing IT staff, elevating their skillsets.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional expertise in Intune and SCCM, with a strong background in device and configuration management.
  • Demonstrated experience in software deployment and resolving deployment-related issues.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a capability to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
  • Previous experience in leading upgrade projects or similar IT initiatives.
  • Available to start ASAP.
