About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and experienced Rehabilitation Occupational Therapists to join a highly regarded healthcare provider in regional Western Australia. These roles offer an opportunity to work within inpatient subacute care settings, supporting patients in their recovery journey and helping them regain independence.
As an Occupational Therapist in this role, you will provide patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team, offering rehabilitation services for individuals recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. You will play a crucial role in improving functional outcomes and enhancing quality of life for patients in a supportive healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities of this Role:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate rehabilitation programs to improve functional independence and mobility
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families to support recovery goals
- Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance patient outcomes
- Support discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition to community or aged care settings
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best-practice service delivery
The Successful Candidate:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in rehabilitation, inpatient, or subacute care (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- Current National Police Clearance and relevant vaccinations
- Full Australian working rights
