Clinical Coordinator
Part-time: 3 Days in Northam & 1 Day in Midland
Salary: $120,000 to $125,000
Must have: AASW registration or APHRA registration
Position Summary:
The Clinical Coordinator leads and manages the clinical operations of a mental health service, working closely with the Centre Manager and leadership teams to ensure effective service delivery for young people and the community. The role involves overseeing a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical leadership, supervision, training, and ensuring adherence to best practice standards. The position also contributes to the development of community partnerships, service growth, and research activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Leadership & Management:
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and guidance to staff in delivering mental health services.
- Oversee intake, referral pathways, and psychosocial assessments.
- Ensure accurate case notes and clinical records are maintained.

Quality & Innovation:
- Lead the ongoing delivery of evidence-based care and contribute to strategic planning and policy development.
- Collect relevant data to improve service delivery and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders.

Operational Management:
- Manage day-to-day team operations and resources.
- Support the growth of services, contributing to the development of a full service site.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for the service.

Other Duties:
- Engage in professional development and contribute to team initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
Required Experience & Knowledge:
- Experience working with young people, particularly those at risk of self-harm or mental health issues.
- Leadership experience in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.
- Knowledge of mental health services and related legislation.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, or Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with AHPRA or AASW.
Other Requirements:
- National Police Certificate, Working with Children Check, and a valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work after hours and travel as needed.
