Are you seeking an opportunity to move from a pure DELIVERY position TOWARDS REGIONAL / GENERAL MANAGEMENT? This could be the opportunity for you!

Our client has a diversified business covering both construction and maintenance on general infrastructure, SMP and utilities projects to private and public sector throughout Australia.

With this growth there is now the demand for an experienced Senior Project Manager / REGIONAL MANAGER with an extensive history delivering SMP projects (Structural Mechanical Piping) projects here in Australia. You will have strong technical and leadership skills allowing you to take charge of delivery and continuing the growth of the division within South Australia. This will include oversight of all commercial and contractual elements.

Your new role will initially see you operate from offices based in Adelaide, South Australia with the requirement for site travel to oversee any major projects within the state.

The successful candidate will display the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
  • 10+ years’ experience working as a Project Manager on Heavy Industrial Construction Projects involving mechanical, structural and piping / E&I
  • Experience on $100m + projects
  • Experience taking $100m + projects from conception through to successful completion.
  • Ability to effectively manage large Project Teams
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
