HSE Officer
HSE OFFICER – 10/4 ROSTER
WIND FARM PROJECT | TIER 2 CIVIL CONTRACTOR
$140K-$150K Base + 15% Uplift + Super + Vehicle
The Opportunity:
Join a leading Tier 2 civil contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across QLD. This role is site-based on a wind farm north of Rockhampton, working a 10/4 FIFO roster. QLD based applicants only.
Future projects may run on 10/4, 9/5, or 2/1 rosters with varying uplifts.
The Role:
As HSE Officer, you’ll support safety and compliance across complex civil works, with responsibilities including:
- Onboarding of plant and personnel
- Daily audits, inspections, and reporting
- Client-focused safety documentation and compliance
- Integrating safety with delivery – not just enforcement
This role involves approx. 50% admin due to increased client requirements, so strong digital skills are essential.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years HSE experience in civil construction
- Tier 2 contractor background preferred
- General civils experience (roads, energy, earthworks)
- Mining/oil & gas experience a bonus
- Cert IV or Diploma in WHS
- Proactive, hands-on attitude
