Salary: $150,000 + Regional Allowance + Salary Packaging options
About the Company
Our client is a trusted provider of community-focused healthcare services across regional New South Wales. With a strong reputation for delivering person-centred care and mental health support, they are committed to improving the wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families. They are currently seeking a dedicated Team Leader – CAMHS to take the lead in shaping and delivering high-quality, multidisciplinary mental health services to young people across the region.
The Role
This is a rewarding leadership opportunity for a driven and compassionate mental health professional. As the Team Leader – CAMHS, you’ll oversee the daily operations, clinical leadership, and strategic direction of a community-based mental health team supporting children, adolescents, and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the planning and delivery of culturally safe, high-quality mental health services
- Providing operational and clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team
- Driving service development and continuous improvement aligned with local and national priorities
- Managing budgets, staffing, and physical resources to support service efficiency and continuity
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and clinical governance frameworks
- Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and cross-border service partners
- Leading incident management, client safety, and quality assurance processes
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in mental health and current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary teams in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of community mental health services and governance frameworks
- Proven ability to lead change, manage resources, and engage teams
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region
