Salary: $90k-$135k + super (based on experience)

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate therapist to join a dedicated team focused on providing essential support for children, young people, and their families affected by trauma.

Key responsibilities include:
* Provide child-centred, family-focused therapy for children and families who have experienced sexual assault, abuse, or family violence
* Collaborate with other services and agencies to prevent sexual abuse within the community
* Deliver community education and prevention programs as part of an integrated services team
* Engage with clients in a sensitive and culturally respectful manner, while maintaining privacy and dignity

You will work closely with a dynamic community development team, contributing directly to the health and well-being of the local community.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or an equivalent qualification
* Significant experience working with children, young people, and adults with complex needs
* Expertise in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic practices
* Ability to engage with diverse, multicultural communities
* Strong communication, conflict resolution, and report writing skills
* Passion for supporting children and young people to improve their quality of life

In addition, you will need to satisfy the following compliance requirements:
* Working with Children Check
* National Criminal History Check
* Unrestricted Driver’s License
