Document Controller

About the opportunity & company:

Our client is based close to Osborne Park and predominantly operates within the Construction sector on small to medium sized projects. They operate a small and lean team which will appeal to those who thrive from being busy and seeking a varied opportunity.

Your primary function but not only one is to manage the Document Control system so experience with systems like Aconex etc would be helpful or other construction document management systems. In addition to Document Control, you will play a lead role within the team in driving and managing administration along with supporting the Project Managers in any tasks that will help with the project’s success. You will be involved in the project lifecycle from tendering, award, project commencement through to handover and close out. This is a “full on” and “Hands on” type of opportunity!

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience working in a Document Controller in construction, infrastructure or engineering.
• High level of competency with Aconex / Team Binder or other document control databases
• Previous experience in construction, infrastructure or engineering working for a main contractor, subcontractor or consultant
• Exposure to the design and delivery phase of projects. Exposure to ECI’s would be highly advantageous.
• Willingness to support the team and business throughout the project lifecycle from Tendering through to handover including general office administration
• There are typically only 2 – 4 live projects happening at anytime and all circa $10m and under

• A strong work ethic, including dedication to team, peers and business objectives

• You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and will be adaptable and flexible in the way you work

• Demonstrate advanced computer skills, including across the Microsoft Office suite

An attractive salary package is on offer commencing at $110k – $120k BASE + Super + parking based on the right candidate having the required experience.
