General Manager

General Manager / Construction Manager

Our client is a small and growing commercial builder delivering industrial, commercial, fit-out and refurbishment projects across Western Australia. Due to growth they are currently looking for an experienced General Manager / Construction Manager to lead day-to-day operations and help take the business to the next level.

About the role:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple projects

  • Manage and mentor a team of 10+ (PMs, CAs, Site Managers, etc.)

  • Drive program, safety, quality, and budget outcomes

  • Lead client and subcontractor relationships

  • Work closely with the Director to secure new work and grow the pipeline

  • Help shape systems, processes, and culture

What we’re looking for:

  • 10+ years experience in commercial construction (Tier 3 or similar)

  • Proven leadership and operational management skills

  • Strong client-facing and communication abilities

  • Solid understanding of project delivery from pre-construction through to handover

  • Ability to lead a team and get the best out of people

  • A no-nonsense, get-it-done approach
