About the Company:
We wanted to make you aware of a newly created, permanent position for Behaviour Support Practitioner working for a hugely successful NDIS organisation who are experiencing massive growth. They are a multidisciplinary allied health organisation who also employ OT’s, Speechie’s and Psychologists, in order to support their clients.

- Plan Development: Create comprehensive & interim person-centred Behaviour Support Plans, outline proactive strategies, environmental modifications, and skill-building activities.
- Skill Building: Teach and coach individuals new skills, such as communication, social skills, and emotional regulation, to replace challenging behaviours.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the individual, their family, support workers, and other professionals to develop a consistent and effective support system.
- Training & Guidance: Provide training and ongoing guidance to families and support teams to ensure consistent implementation of the support plan.
- Monitoring & Review: Continuously monitor the individual’s progress and regularly review the plan to ensure it remains relevant and effective.
- Restrictive Practice Reduction: Support the safe reduction of restrictive practices, if used, in line with NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) requirements and legislative guidelines.
- Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies: as per the positive behaviour support framework, with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices and reduce challenging behaviours, in the home and community.
What we’re looking for:
- Current drivers’ licence and access to own transport
- Registration with NDIS as a Behaviour Support Practitioner – must have a Practitioner Number
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, education or associated field
- Good working knowledge of positive behaviour support including the legislative framework and providing support from a social model of disability
- A proven track record of working from a systems perspective to empower families and carers
- Relevant clearances and certificates to work in the NDIS field
- Great attitude with excellent communication skills
What you can expect in return:
- Work/Life Balance – working from home arrangement
- 4-5 days a week – permanent full-time or part-time
- Salary ranges from $75k-$110k + super depending on experience level
- Sensible KPI’s and interesting, varied caseload
- Fuel Card or Travel Allowance
- Amazing work culture – fun, caring and motivating place to work with a supportive team environment that empowers you to grow as a practitioner
