Project Coordinator – Mining Exploration Projects (Jira focus)

A dynamic consulting business is expanding their Perth team and looking for a Project Coordinator with strong Jira skills to help drive planning, tracking and delivery across multi-disciplinary mining and exploration projects.

This role sits at the centre of project execution – supporting technical teams across engineering, geology and data analytics – helping keep things on track, documented, and moving forward.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in coordinating projects from planning through to completion, ensuring communication, systems, and deliverables are aligned across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project timelines, milestones, and task tracking in Jira

  • Maintain dashboards, workflows, and project documentation

  • Support project leads with reporting, governance and risk tracking

  • Liaise with engineering, geology and data teams to ensure alignment

  • Assist with budgeting, resource allocation and internal communications

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in project coordination, PMO support, or project admin

  • Proven capability in Jira (setting up boards, tracking tasks, managing dependencies)

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Exposure to engineering, mining, construction or technical consulting projects preferred

  • Familiarity with Confluence or similar tools a bonus
