Project Manager

PROJECT MANAGER – COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Project Manager ready for a new challenge!

Join our client, an innovative and forward-thinking Tier 2 builder, and become part of a company renowned for its strong team culture and long-standing staff tenure.

In this role, you will lead the delivery of major multi-residential developments, collaborating with a highly experienced and well-resourced team. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of key projects valued up to $60m across diverse sectors, including healthcare, aged care, retail, apartments, and hotels.

Role details:

  • Overseeing projects through all phases, from early pre-construction planning through to completion, handover, and defect liability periods
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project teams to drive performance
  • Ensuring strict compliance with building codes, standards, and health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements
  • Building strong working relationships and maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and key stakeholders
  • Managing tender presentations, head contract administration, and subcontractor negotiations
  • Coordinating construction programs and ensuring delivery systems run efficiently and to schedule
  • Preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability
  • A mix of office and site-based responsibilities

About you:

  • A natural leader and motivator
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Experience across multi-residential and education sectors highly regarded
  • Familiarity with MS Project, Procore, and Jobpac (desirable, not essential)
  • Full working rights in Australia (essential)
