Quantity Surveyor

  • PERMANENT FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITY

  • UP TO $150k + SUPER

Are you an early-career commercial professional with a genuine for numbers, cost planning and estimating? I am seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a growing contractor delivering civil and earthworks projects in Perth. This a broad and varied role spanning quantity surveying, estimating and tender support, reporting directly to the Project Controls Manager, and offering hands-on experience and strong career development.

You’ll be involved in cost estimating, tender preparation, quantity take-offs and procurement support, helping the team deliver accurate and competitive bids through project lifecycles.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Assist with cost-estimating and quantity take-offs to support project bids and proposals.
  • Support tender preparation and evaluation including pricing schedules.
  • Assist with procurement activities by sourcing and comparing quotations from supplies and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate with end of month claims and compiling of variations.

The Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in estimating, QS and tendering functions.
  • Excellent numeracy, analytical skill and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using CAD packages (e.g. 12D Model)
  • Proactive attitude, driven approach and a willingness to take initiative.
