HSE ADVISOR – 2/1 ROSTER
MAJOR PILBARA EARTHWORKS PROJECT | TIER 2 CIVIL CONTRACTOR
$140K Base + 40% Uplift + Super

The Opportunity:

Join a well-established Tier 2 civil contractor delivering large-scale bulk earthworks packages across the Pilbara. This is a site-based role on a major iron ore infrastructure project, working a 2/1 FIFO roster.

The project value is $100m + with over 4 million m3 of bulk earthworks to be carried out, offering long-term continuity for the right candidate within a strong pipeline of resources and infrastructure projects.

The Role:

As HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in driving safety outcomes across site operations, working closely with both site leadership and workforce. Responsibilities include:

  • Onboarding and mobilisation of personnel and plant
  • Conducting daily inspections, audits, and incident reporting
  • Developing and maintaining client-aligned safety documentation
  • Supporting operational teams to embed safety into delivery
  • Providing practical, on-site HSE support rather than pure compliance

This role includes a significant administrative component due to client requirements, so strong reporting and digital capability is essential.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years’ experience in HSE within civil construction or resources projects
  • Strong bulk earthworks experience preferred
  • Tier 2 contractor background highly regarded
  • Mining or iron ore project experience advantageous
  • Cert IV or Diploma in WHS
  • Proactive, site-focused approach with strong stakeholder engagement skills
