CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

  • Commercial Construction
  • $120K – $220K + Super (DOE)
  • Multiple Opportunities available

We are currently partnering with several highly respected Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 commercial builders to recruit Contract Administrators at Junior, Intermediate and Senior levels. These opportunities sit across a strong pipeline of secured projects, offering long-term stability and exposure to major commercial developments or residential developments.

Projects & Sectors

Projects range in value from $5M to $500M+ and span a diverse mix of sectors, including:

  • Defence
  • Government
  • Healthcare
  • Mixed-use developments
  • Apartments / Residential
  • Education
  • Retail
  • Industrial

About the Role

Depending on your level of experience, responsibilities may include:

  • Administering the head contract in line with commercial building contracts and project requirements
  • Letting, managing and administering all trade subcontracts and supplier agreements
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, tender assessments and contract negotiations
  • Preparing, assessing and certifying progress claims, variations and payment schedules
  • Monitoring project budgets, cost-to-complete, cash flow and financial forecasting
  • Preparing monthly cost reports and supporting commercial risk management
  • Ensuring contractual compliance with scopes, drawings, specifications and construction programmes
  • Liaising closely with site management, consultants, clients and subcontractors
  • Supporting project close-out, defects management and final account settlement

About You

You will ideally have:

  • Experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
  • Exposure to a head contractor environment
  • Strong commercial and contractual understanding
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Full working rights in Australia
