Senior Project Manager – Major Project in WA

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a highly respected international building company delivering a major healthcare project in Western Australia. This role is ideal for a high level delivery candidate who has experience delivering complex builds over $300M+.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with site teams, gaining exposure across all stages of the project. The Senior Project Manager will be a key part of the senior leadership team delivering major components to a large hospital build. You will be responsible for end-to-end construction delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the construction delivery of major hospital and/or associated infrastructure works across one or more project sites

• Manage contractors, consultants, and superintendents to ensure compliance with scope, program, cost, quality, and safety requirements

• Oversee construction planning, staging, and sequencing.

• Ensure adherence to WHS & environmental requirements

• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, progress claims, variations, and risk contingencies

• Monitor and report on program performance, milestones, and critical path activities

• Coordinate interfaces between construction, design, clinical stakeholders, and operational hospital teams

• Lead issue resolution and risk management, escalating where required

• Ensure compliance with government procurement, reporting, and governance frameworks

• Contribute to commissioning, handover, and defects management processes

About You

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager or similar role on large-scale construction projects (ideally $300M+)

• Strong background in healthcare, complex buildings, or major infrastructure projects

• Proven experience managing head contractors and multiple work packages

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, staging, and live-environment delivery

• Excellent commercial acumen, including cost control and contract administration

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• In-depth knowledge of WHS requirements and risk management
