Registered Psychologist – Child & Adolescent Mental Health
Location: Bayswater & Midlands, WA
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: $130k + super, plus 15-20% bonus structure
About the Company
Our client is a respected provider in the healthcare sector, known for its supportive, collaborative, and family-oriented team culture. They are seeking a Registered Psychologist to join their team and contribute to delivering high-quality psychological services to children and adolescents.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Psychologist to step into a dynamic, fully clinical role working with children and adolescents aged 1-18 years.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct psychological assessments including cognitive, developmental, and neurodiversity-focused assessments (experience with ADOS and WISC highly regarded).
- Deliver evidence-based interventions including CBT, ACT, DBT-informed approaches, trauma-informed care, and NDIS plans.
- Liaise with teachers, families, and external agencies as required.
- Manage caseloads of children and adolescents with neurodiverse needs, out-of-home care, emotional regulation, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow AHPRA standards.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team including provisional and registered psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
You’ll work closely with the clinical leadership team and be a key part of the broader operation.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience working with paediatric and adolescent clients in clinical settings.
- Strong rapport-building skills with children, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a structured, KPI-driven environment (5 billables per day).
- Willingness to work within scope and seek support when required.
- Registered Psychologist status; experience as a Registered or Clinical Psychologist considered.
- AHPRA-approved supervision experience is an advantage.
