About our clients :
We wanted to make you aware of 2 newly created, permanent positions for a Registered Psychologist, working for hugely successful NDIS & allied health organisations in the Brisbane area, who are experiencing massive growth. They have been delivering essential care services to their clients for several years and have earned an excellent reputation due to the excellent quality of the services which they deliver.
You would be part of the multidisciplinary team comprising of Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Behaviour Specialists to meet the needs of children, young people and families navigating mental health, emotional and cognitive challenges.
This is a dynamic and fun environment where you will be part of a successful team, allowing you the time and space to develop – you can expect regular supervision and weekly one to ones where you will have the opportunity to discuss your complex clients, brainstorm, ask for advice and receive help & feedback to develop your reflective practice skills.
The Positions:
We have 2 separate positions listed below for AHPRA Registered Psychologists working for 2 different providers:
Registered Psychologist – Kedron – Clinic Based :
- Clinic Based position in Kedron with a small amount of community visits to schools – beautiful clinic – supportive team environment and working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team
- Strong focus on children and adolescent clients
- Full-time, part-time, or flexible hours (including 9-day fortnight or flex day)
- Reasonable expectations: Balanced client load with protected admin time-no late-night report writing
- Competitive starting salaries $100k-$125k + super, depending on your experience level + PD Allowance
- Sensible KPI’s and interesting caseload – avoid burnout promoting Work/Life Balance
- Areas of Focus: Support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behaviour concerns, ADHD, and autism.
- Approach: Utilise neurodiversity-affirming practices, CBT, and attachment-based approaches in a non-stigmatising manner.
Registered Psychologist – Brisbane (North or South) – Community & WFH :
- Community based position visiting client in Brisbane – you will receive a caseload close to where you live
- Work from home for the other time
- Supportive team environment with regular structured supervision and one to ones
- Therapeutic Intervention: Provide counselling and therapeutic interventions, including disability-adapted psychotherapy, mental health strategies, and emotion regulation support.
- Reporting: Produce written clinical reports and recommendations.
- Collaboration & Training: Work closely with support providers, families, and allied health professionals, including training support teams and families.
- Capacity Building: Focus on building individual capabilities to reach goals and improve independence.
- Assessments: Conduct client assessments, including diagnostic, functional, and cognitive assessments.
- Behaviour Support: Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) to support individuals with disabilities.
- Competitive starting salaries $100k-$125k + super, depending on your experience level + PD Allowance
What we’re looking for:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist (General or Clinical)
- Eligibility for Medicare and NDIS services
- National Police Clearance
- Experience in, or passion for, working with children, youth, and families
- Positive outlook, strong ethics, and commitment to learning
- WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening (we can help if needed)
