About the Company
Our client is a values-driven psychology practice committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based psychological services in a supportive and collaborative environment. They work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, and prioritise ethical, trauma-informed, client-centred care. The practice is expanding its team and seeking a Registered Psychologist to contribute to meaningful therapeutic outcomes while being supported to grow professionally.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Psychologist to join a dynamic practice offering both autonomy and strong clinical support. You’ll provide psychological assessment and intervention to a diverse client base and have the flexibility to tailor your caseload to your areas of interest and competence (e.g., children/adolescents, trauma, neurodiversity, NDIS, private clients).
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment
- Deliver therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Conduct risk assessments and safety planning when required
- Collaborate with families, schools, GPs, and other allied health professionals
- Uphold ethical practice in line with AHPRA and APS standards
- Work autonomously while contributing positively to a supportive, multidisciplinary team
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- General Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Strong skills in evidence-based therapies (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT-informed, trauma-informed approaches)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment
- Experience with NDIS and/or Medicare clients is desirable but not essential
