ShotFirer – WA Goldfields

  • FIFO role with flexible roster options: 2:2, 2:1 or 8:6
  • Temp to perm pathway
  • Stable, ongoing opportunity on a reputable Goldfields site

Our client is currently seeking experienced Shotfirers to join a well-established gold operation in the WA Goldfields. This site offers consistent production, strong safety standards and a supportive team environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for safely executing drill and blast activities to meet daily production targets while maintaining strict compliance with site procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, load and fire explosives in accordance with blast designs

  • Conduct pre-blast inspections and safety checks

  • Work closely with drillers and supervisors to ensure accurate blast execution

  • Maintain safe handling, storage and security of explosives

  • Complete blast reports and required documentation

  • Ensure blast areas are cleared and secured prior to detonation

About You

  • Current Shotfirer Licence

  • Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)

  • Current WA Driver’s Licence

  • Demonstrated experience in drill and blast operations

  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Highly regarded:

  • HR Licence

  • Electronics experience
