Blast Hole Drillers – 2:1 Roster | Goldfields WA | Temp-to-Perm

We’re seeking experienced Blast Hole Drillers for a Temp-to-Perm opportunity across established Goldfields operations. These projects offer stable, long-term work within safety-focused teams delivering consistent production results.

This is an excellent opportunity for dependable operators who take pride in their work and are ready to hit the ground running on a steady 2:1 roster.

The Role

As a Blast Hole Driller, you will be responsible for operating production drill rigs safely and efficiently to meet daily targets while maintaining strict compliance with site safety standards and blast design requirements.

You will be working on a mix of:

Platform Drills

  • CAT MD6250

  • Sandvik DR410i

Boom Drills

  • Sandvik D1650i Leopard

  • Sandvik DP1500i Pantera

  • Epiroc D65

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate blast hole drill rigs to specified depths and patterns in line with blast designs

  • Conduct pre-start checks and ongoing equipment inspections

  • Maintain accurate hole alignment and depth control

  • Work closely with Shotfirers and Supervisors to ensure precise drill patterns

  • Monitor ground conditions and adjust drilling techniques as required

  • Maintain high safety and production standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in open pit drill and blast operations

  • Proven experience operating Sandvik D1650i, DP1500i, DR410i and CAT MD6250

  • Current Manual C Class Driver’s Licence (essential)

  • HR Licence (highly regarded)

  • Strong communication skills and team-focused attitude

  • A solid safety record and commitment to site procedures
