About the Company

Our client is a respected leader in the healthcare sector, known for delivering high-quality maternity and women’s health services across metropolitan, regional, and remote communities. They are seeking experienced Midwives to join their teams and contribute to the delivery of safe, evidence-based, and woman-centred maternity care.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Midwife to step into a rewarding contract role offering both professional growth and the opportunity to explore diverse Australian locations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum (maternity/delivery), and postnatal care
• Supporting women through labour and birth in maternity and delivery suites
• Delivering immediate neonatal care, including neonatal resuscitation where required
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and culturally appropriate care
• You’ll work closely with Nurse Unit Managers, obstetric teams, and broader maternity services, playing a key role in supporting women and families throughout their birth journey.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate midwifery experience
• Recent experience in Maternity / Delivery settings
• Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously
• Current AHPRA registration as a Midwife
• Maternity / Delivery experience (recent)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate (current)
• FSEP / OFSEP preferred
• National Police Check
• Working With Children Check (as required per state)
• Full Australian working rights
