Construction Coordinator

We are partnering with a highly reputable and rapidly growing developer in the data centre sector to appoint a Construction Coordinator / Project Engineer to join their client-side project team.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a 2IC role supporting the Construction Manager on a large-scale Data Centre development

The Role

Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and driving site delivery outcomes across a technically complex build.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as 2IC to the Construction Manager

• Tracking project progress against programme and key milestones

• Overseeing QA/QC processes and documentation

• Coordinating contractors and consultant interfaces

• Supporting contracts administration and procurement activities

• Assisting with cost control, risk management and reporting

• Ensuring compliance across safety, quality and performance standards

This is a hands-on coordination role with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking construction professionals currently working as a:

• Construction Coordinator

• Site Engineer

• Project Coordinator

• Project Engineer

You will bring:

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience within the construction industry

• Exposure to projects valued at $50M+

• Experience delivering services-intensive or technically complex builds (highly regarded)

• Strong organisational, reporting and stakeholder coordination skills

• A proactive mindset and desire to build a long-term career

Experience in data centres, healthcare, defence, infrastructure, or large commercial developments will be highly advantageous.
