OP Geologists
Multiple levels of Mine geologist roles available:
Senior Open Pit Geologists:
- Drive pit performance by delivering end-to-end grade control – from ore block design and blast movement updates to daily ore/waste tracking and reconciliation.
- Lead geological programs including RC and diamond core logging, drilling coordination, and pit mapping to sharpen mine designs and keep operations running efficiently.
- Own data integrity across QA/QC, wall mapping, and production reporting while supporting weekly scheduling and contributing to the evolution of geological standards.
Project Geologists:
- Shape project-level geological outcomes by developing and refining procedures, standards, and technical frameworks that drive consistency across the operation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver technical input that informs pit design, resource estimation, and long-term mine planning decisions.
- Champion continuous improvement in geological practices, ensuring data integrity, QA/QC compliance, and procedural standards are embedded at every stage of the project
Mine Geologists Open Pit
- Execute day-to-day pit geology functions including ore mark-ups, blast movement updates, and ore block design to support safe and efficient mining operations.
- Conduct detailed geological mapping, RC and diamond core logging, and grade control drilling to maintain an accurate and up-to-date picture of the orebody.
- Monitor and report on daily ore and waste movements, performing reconciliation and QA/QC tasks to ensure production targets are met with confidence.
High focus on progression as projects develop and multiple pits open and transition into underground operations.
