Storeperson

We are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join the afternoon shift at a busy yard/factory warehouse based in Hazelmere. This is an ongoing opportunity with strong potential to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.

This role involves handling heavy structural steel beams and posts, loading trucks, and supporting general yard operations. This is not just a forklift role – you must be comfortable working in a hands-on, physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a forklift to move long structural beams and heavy materials

  • Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently

  • Completing general yard duties and warehouse housekeeping

  • Assisting with stock control and completing required paperwork

  • Participating in toolbox meetings and maintaining site safety standards

Requirements:

  • Current Driver’s Licence and own reliable transport

  • Current Forklift Ticket

  • Overhead Crane Ticket and experience (highly desirable)

  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a Storeperson or Yard Hand

  • Experience handling heavy or oversized cargo

  • Reliable, physically fit, and strong work ethic

  • Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen (DAS) upon permanent conversion

Shift Details:

  • Afternoon shift

  • Option to complete 2-3 weeks training on day shift before transferring to afternoons

  • Client also open to candidates starting directly on afternoon shift
