With state-of-the-art facilities including multiple cardiac catheter laboratories and ten operating theatres (including a true hybrid theatre), they are committed to clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
They are seeking experienced Anaesthetic Technicians to join their Anaesthetics Team and contribute to safe, high-quality perioperative care.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Anaesthetic Technician to step into a dynamic theatre environment offering both challenge and professional growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with patients, families, VMOs and multidisciplinary team members
- Delivering exceptional customer service and person-centred, evidence-based care
- Supporting anaesthetic procedures across a range of surgical specialties
- Participating in clinical governance, compliance activities, and NSQHS standards adherence
You’ll work closely with Anaesthetists, Theatre Nurses, and the broader perioperative team and play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient theatre operations.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Minimum 12 months’ experience working as an Anaesthetic Technician in a hospital setting
- Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology (or equivalent qualification)
- Demonstrated compliance with NSQHS National Standards
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
