About the Company

Our client is a respected provider within the community health and mental health sector, delivering essential services to individuals and families across regional and remote communities. With a strong focus on person-centred care, cultural safety and clinical excellence, they are seeking Accredited Mental Health Social Workers to join their team on a regional contract basis and support communities with limited access to specialist services.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accredited Mental Health Social Worker to step into a rewarding contract role where you can make a real difference.

Key responsibilities include:
* Providing evidence-based mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions
* Delivering counselling and mental health support to individuals experiencing complex needs
* Developing care plans and supporting recovery-focused outcomes
* Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and community services
* Supporting clients with trauma, mental health conditions and psychosocial challenges

You’ll work closely with clinical teams, community stakeholders and service providers to deliver high-quality mental health support across regional communities.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
* Accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker with the relevant professional body
* Experience providing counselling and therapeutic interventions in mental health settings
* Strong assessment, case management and care coordination skills
* Ability to work autonomously in regional or community-based environments
* A current driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Australia
