Final Trim Excavator Operators needed

Zenith Search are currently seeking 6 x experienced Excavator Operators with strong final trim and GPS capability for immediate starts across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

This is a temp to perm opportunity with a civil contractor delivering subdivision and housing development projects. Work is ongoing across multiple sites, with operators required to step in and deliver accurate final trim from day one.

About the Role:

  • Final trim excavation using GPS machine control
  • Operating 20T to 36T Hitachi and CAT excavators
  • Subdivision works including house pads, drainage, trenching, and services
  • Bulk earthworks, benching, batters, and detailed excavation
  • Working to plans, set levels, and survey marks
  • Moving between sites as required across active projects

What’s on Offer:

  • $45-$47.50/hr + penalties + travel and meal allowances
  • 10-hour days (Monday to Friday)
  • 2-3 Saturdays per month (shorter shifts)
  • Consistent hours with overtime available
  • Immediate start with ongoing pipeline of work
  • Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidates
  • Travel and Meal allowances included

Requirements:

  • Proven final trim excavator experience in civil environments
  • GPS machine control experience (Trimble, Topcon or similar)
  • Ability to read plans, set levels, and work to tight tolerances
  • Civil earthworks background, with subdivision experience preferred
  • Reliable and flexible to move between sites as required
