Salary: $137,500 – $140,000 + super + salary packaging

Our client is a respected leader in the community services sector, known for delivering high-quality, person-centred support across mental health and counselling services. They are seeking a Practice Consultant to join their team and contribute to strengthening practice excellence and service outcomes across the organisation.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Consultant to step into a strategic and impactful role offering both challenge and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading quality, evidence-informed practice across mental health and counselling services
• Collaborating with leadership teams to influence service design and continuous improvement
• Supporting and developing teams to strengthen capability and practice outcomes
• Using research, data, and policy frameworks to guide strategic decision-making

You’ll work closely with internal leaders and multidisciplinary teams and play a key role in driving best-practice service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or Counselling
• Strong experience within mental health systems across clinical and psychosocial frameworks
• Knowledge of contemporary therapeutic approaches for individuals, families, and children
• Understanding of State and National mental health policies and their application in practice
• Ability to interpret research and data to inform service improvement
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation skills
• A commitment to culturally safe, inclusive, and person-centred practice
• Current (or willingness to obtain) National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, and WA Driver’s Licence
