Site Manager – Commercial Construction

Location: North of River (NOR) projects
Project Range: $2M – $15M commercial builds
Salary: $130K – $180K + Super (depending on experience)
Package: Vehicle or allowance + fuel card

About the Role

Our client is seeking a capable, driven, Site Manager to take ownership of site delivery across a range of commercial construction projects.

This is a hands-on, hybrid position combining site supervision and project management, suited to someone confident running projects with autonomy while still working within a supportive, experienced team.

Projects span the industrial and commercial sectors, with values up to $15M. The business has built a strong reputation for quality delivery and repeat clientele, and operates as a family-run company where your contribution is genuinely valued.

You’ll be joining a team with a strong pipeline of secured work, offering long-term stability, flexible working hours, and no Saturday work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of day-to-day site operations across multiple projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site resources
  • Drive programme and sequencing to ensure efficient delivery
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Assist with procurement planning and trade scheduling
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates

About You

  • Strong background in commercial or residential construction (essential)
  • Proven hands-on site experience with the ability to run projects independently
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Exposure to project programming and sequencing
  • Current manual driver’s licence
