About the Company

Our client is a well-established civil contractor operating across South East Queensland, delivering complex infrastructure projects with a strong focus on utilities and water. With a reputation for technical capability and consistent project delivery, they specialise in works including pump stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and large-scale pipeline installations.

Due to continued project wins, they are seeking a Site Engineer or Project Engineer to join their growing team and play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects across the region.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer or Project Engineer to step into a hands-on delivery role across a range of technically challenging utilities projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating day-to-day site activities across pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plant works
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently
• Monitoring project progress against program and assisting with short-term planning
• Supporting cost control, variations, and procurement processes
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, playing a key role in successful project outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• 2-6+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer within civil construction
• Exposure to utilities projects, including water/sewer pipelines, pump stations, or treatment plants
• Experience working for a civil contractor
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, drawings, and specifications
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively on site
• A relevant engineering qualification (Civil Engineering or similar)
