Our client:
A rare opportunity for a People & Culture Advisor to join a not-for-profit aged care provider managing day to day employee relations and broader Human Resources.
They are a people-first organisation who value their staff and are seeking an experienced advisor to drive positive outcomes within their Perth Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer practical, day-to-day guidance across People & Culture matters, including employee relations, performance, conduct, and policy interpretation.
- Handle employee relations cases
- Assist leaders with performance management processes, ensuring effective planning and documentation.
- Collaborate with managers on hiring, selection, onboarding, and workforce planning decisions.
- Support the delivery of initiatives, including projects, policy updates, and organisational change efforts.
- Leverage workforce data and insights to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvements.
- Monitor for emerging risks, engagement challenges, and retention issues, raising concerns at the appropriate level.
To be successful in this role:
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Clear and confident communication style, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Proven experience providing employee relations advice, including handling performance management, interpreting policies, and working with awards or enterprise agreements
- Experience guiding recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities, including advising hiring managers.
- Sound judgement and discretion, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Capability to contribute to initiatives, projects, and organisational change efforts.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Employment Relations, or other related discipline
