Residential Manager – Regional Location WA

The Role:
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of a residential aged care facility, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery for all residents
- Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards, legislation, accreditation requirements, and organisational policies
- Provide strong leadership, mentoring, and support to multidisciplinary teams including clinical, care, hospitality, and administration staff
- Drive a positive workplace culture focused on resident wellbeing, team engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Monitor and manage clinical governance, risk management, incident reporting, and quality improvement initiatives
- Oversee staffing levels, workforce planning, recruitment, and performance management to maintain safe and effective care delivery
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, allied health professionals, visiting practitioners, and external stakeholders
- Manage facility budgets, occupancy targets, financial performance, and operational resources effectively
- Ensure delivery of person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, independence, and quality of life for residents
- Support and lead preparation for audits, accreditation visits, and compliance reviews
- Collaborate with senior management to implement strategic goals and operational improvements across the service
- Maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff in line with workplace health and safety requirements in Western Australia
The successful candidate:
- Experience working in Residential Aged Care
- APHRA qualification – desired not mandatory
- Full working rights
- Covid and Flu vaccinations
- National Police Clearance – within 6 months
- Leadership with a track record of running a high performing business
- Ability to lead an effective team and empowering staff to provide exceptional client focused care services
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working collaboratively with Boards to set a clear strategy and business focus
