About the Service
The service operates within a youth-focused mental health setting, providing holistic support to young people experiencing mental health, psychosocial, alcohol and other drug, and vocational challenges. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, the service aims to improve access to high-quality care and positive recovery outcomes for young people and their families.
The Role
An opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a supportive multidisciplinary team within a specialist youth mental health service.
In this role, you will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and operational support to site-based clinicians, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care for young people with complex mental health needs. You will contribute to clinical governance, service development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives while fostering a collaborative and client-centred team environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing clinical leadership and supervision to multidisciplinary team members
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based mental health services
- Coordinating care for young people with complex and diverse needs
- Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, quality, and risk frameworks
- Supporting innovation and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Building effective relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Advocating for young people and promoting recovery-oriented outcomes
- Maintaining accurate documentation, reporting, and case management systems

What We’re Looking For
- Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse, OR AASW accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Strong understanding of evidence-based interventions and youth mental health practice
- Experience supporting young people with complex mental health and psychosocial needs
- Knowledge of alcohol and other drug presentations and recovery-oriented practice
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with young people, families, and service providers
- Experience using electronic client management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practice
Essential Requirements
- Current professional registration
- Working with Children Check / Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Current driver’s licence
