Senior Project Manager

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead long-term civil construction works for major tier 1 miners.

This is a key leadership role within a well-established civil contractor delivering $200M+ annual revenue with approximately 300 employees. The business is built on long-term client relationships and repeat delivery across major resource sector projects.

The scope of works includes earthworks, concrete, road construction, and ongoing maintenance across a 4-5 year secured program of works, with multiple concurrent projects running in close proximity.

Key Details
* Long-term civil programs (4-5 years secured works)
* Earthworks, concrete, road construction & maintenance construction scope
* Project values ranging $10-$50mil
* 4:3 roster (Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri) OR 8:6 FIFO
* $250k + Super
* Managing direct delivery teams of ~50 personnel
* Multiple concurrent projects across a concentrated footprint
* Strong commercial model with straightforward day-rate structures
* Well-supported by senior leadership and project teams

Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end delivery of major civil construction projects
* Manage programme, planning, sequencing, and resource allocation
* Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and direct delivery teams
* Drive commercial performance including cost control and reporting
* Manage stakeholder engagement across Fortescue and internal GMs
* Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance standards are met
* Oversee delivery across multiple concurrent work fronts

About You
* Proven experience delivering large-scale civil construction projects
* Strong background in earthworks, roads, and resource infrastructure
* Confident managing teams across complex, multi-site operations
* Strong commercial acumen and contract management capability
* Ability to lead delivery in remote Pilbara environments
* Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability
