Project Manager | Commercial Construction
Location: Perth (South)
Projects: $2M – $10M commercial builds
Salary: $120K – $170K + Super (depending on experience)
Package: Vehicle or allowance + fuel card + gym membership
About the Role
We are partnered with an established commercial builder with over 20 years of industry experience, delivering projects across a diverse range of sectors valued up to $10M.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on Project Manager role suited to someone confident managing projects autonomously while working within a supportive and experienced delivery and leadership team.
Projects are varied across the commercial sector and consist entirely of negotiated work. The business has built a strong reputation for quality delivery and repeat clientele, operating as a family-run company where your contribution is genuinely valued.
You’ll be joining a team with a strong pipeline of secured work, offering long-term stability, flexible working arrangements, and the opportunity to take ownership delivering projects across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery, including construction administration, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution and communication
- Lead tendering and procurement activities, including take-offs, pricing analysis, subcontractor negotiation, and contract award
- Prepare and manage project documentation including contracts, purchase orders, budgets, cash flow forecasts, programs, and progress claims
- Oversee site coordination with Site Supervisors, including sequencing of works, RFIs, meetings, and progress tracking
- Monitor quality, safety, environmental compliance, and ensure works align with design documentation and project requirements
- Manage variations, payments, defects, warranties, and project close-out activities including completion and handover processes
About You
- Strong background in commercial construction (essential)
- Proven hands-on site experience with the ability to run projects independently
- Proactive, forward-thinking mindset
- Practical problem-solver with strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently while contributing to a team
- Current manual driver’s licence
