The Opportunity

As a Primary Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, culturally safe healthcare services to the local community. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive primary health care across a diverse patient population, including health assessments, chronic disease management, preventative health initiatives, care planning, immunisations, and health education.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner
• Strong clinical experience within primary health care, public health, remote health, or Aboriginal health settings
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience using clinical guidelines and standard treatment manuals
• A genuine commitment to Aboriginal health and culturally safe practice
• An understanding of the principles of Aboriginal Community Control
