Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Locum / Permanent

Salary: Permanent salary from $260K-$330K or percentage of billings | Locum rates up to $2,000 per day ( more in wet season)

These organisations are dedicated to delivering culturally safe, holistic, and community-centred healthcare to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Operating across metropolitan, regional and remote communities, they provide integrated healthcare services including primary care, chronic disease management, women’s health, aged care, allied health, NDIS support and community outreach programs.

With multiple opportunities currently available across Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, and New South Wales, we are seeking General Practitioners interested in either locum (FIFO) or permanent positions to help improve health outcomes within First Nations communities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality, evidence-based primary healthcare services
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions
• Delivering culturally safe and trauma-informed care
• Participating in preventative health programs and community health initiatives

You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Registered Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, Midwives and Allied Health professionals, playing a key role in delivering integrated and continuous care.

There are also opportunities to supervise registrars and develop special interest areas such as women’s health, dermatology, chronic disease management and Indigenous health.

What We’re Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
• FRACGP or FACRRM (or equivalent recognised fellowship). Fellowship supervision opportunities available for suitable non-VR GPs (Level 3 and 4 supervision only)
• Vocational Registration with the Australian Medical Council / Medicare
• Experience in general practice, ideally within regional or community health settings
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to culturally safe care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience working within an Aboriginal Medical Service or culturally diverse environment will be highly regarded
