The Opportunity:

We are partnering with an up-and-coming civil contractor experiencing strong and sustained growth across the mining and resources sector. With a solid pipeline of secured work, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of key projects across tailings construction, bulk earthworks, and mining services.

The position:

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of civil construction projects within remote mining environments. You will oversee end-to-end project execution including planning, programming, cost control, subcontractor management, and client liaison. Contractor & resource sector experience is essential.

The Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in civil construction.
  • 8 +years’ exposure to construction projects.
  • Experience managing budgets, cost tracking, and commercial performance.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors & liaising with the client.
  • A pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Positive references from previous employers, demonstrating a stable employment history.
  • Resource sectors experience essential including tailings dam construction and bulk earthworks.
