Mining Production Supervisor – Bulk Material Movement
Zenith Search is currently working with an established WA mining contractor seeking an experienced Mining Production Supervisor for a bulk material movement project in Western Australia.
This role will commence as a contract opportunity, with a clear pathway to move into a permanent position for the right person.

The Role
You will be supervising mining production activities across bulk material movement, waste removal and open cut operations.
You will be responsible for running crews safely and efficiently while ensuring daily production targets, compliance requirements and site standards are met.
The project is based on a WA mining operation, with an immediate start available for the right person.

About The Company
Our client is an established and growing mining contractor working across key resource projects throughout Western Australia.
They have built a strong reputation for delivering safely, looking after their people and maintaining long-term relationships with major mining clients.
This is a business known for its close-knit team environment, strong staff retention and practical approach to supporting its supervisors and crews.
Duties Will Include

Supervising production crews across mining operations
-
Managing waste removal, bulk material movement and load and haul activities
-
Coordinating mobile plant and operators to meet daily targets
-
Running pre-starts and toolbox meetings
-
Monitoring safety, quality and production performance
-
Completing daily paperwork, reports and compliance documentation
-
Working closely with site management, maintenance and client representatives
-
Supporting a positive crew culture and maintaining strong site standards
What You Will Need
-
Current S26 / Section 26 Supervisor ticket
-
Previous supervisory experience in a mining production environment
-
Experience across bulk material movement, waste removal, load and haul or open cut mining
-
Strong understanding of safe mining operations and production targets
-
Ability to lead crews and manage day-to-day site priorities
-
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work a 7/7 FIFO roster

Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
Highly Regarded

ROM pad management experience

Overburden stripping experience

Waste dump and haul road maintenance experience

Mine infrastructure or mine services background

Experience supervising high-volume earthmoving fleets

Exposure to tailings storage facilities or processing infrastructure
