Salary: $85K – $115K + Super + Bonus Opportunities

Working collaboratively with participants, families, carers, and multidisciplinary support networks, they take the time to understand the underlying causes of behaviours of concern and develop practical, individualised strategies that create meaningful and lasting change. Their experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners deliver comprehensive functional behaviour assessments, tailored behaviour support plans, and ongoing coaching in line with the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework. With a strong focus on reducing and eliminating restrictive practices wherever possible, they equip participants and those around them with the skills, confidence, and support needed to achieve positive outcomes and thrive at home, in their communities, and in everyday life.
The Role
In this role, you’ll partner with participants, families, carers, support workers, and allied health professionals to deliver evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support that creates meaningful, long-term outcomes. You’ll complete functional behaviour assessments, develop and implement individualised Behaviour Support Plans, provide coaching and training to support teams, monitor participant progress, and produce high-quality clinical reports that meet NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements. Your work will focus on improving quality of life, building participant capacity, and reducing and eliminating restrictive practices through proactive, person-centred strategies.
You’ll be supported by an experienced team of Behaviour Support Practitioners and clinical leaders who are committed to helping you thrive. With regular clinical supervision, peer collaboration, ongoing mentoring, and access to professional development, you’ll have the support and resources to continue building your clinical capability while working with a diverse and rewarding caseload across children, adolescents, and adults.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans
- Work closely with participants, families, and support teams
- Contribute to reducing restrictive practices in line with best practice
- Create personalised resources for clients
- Produce high-quality clinical documentation aligned with NDIS requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Psychology, OT, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Counselling, Education or related field)
- NDIS endorsement as core or above as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Experience in disability, mental health, or allied health settings
- Strong report writing and analytical skills
- A collaborative and reflective approach to practice
- Working with Children’s card, National police clearance
- Current driver’s licence and relevant checks
